The Miserable Clown
A downloadable game for Windows
About this game
This game is a short proof of concept inspired by J.B. Harolds Murder Club made for AmalgamAsh's Smile Game Builder Jam 2021.
After a painting was stolen from The Royal Clown Gallery it's up to you, Liam Davies, to solve the case and find out who committed the crime.
You should be able to beat this game in 10 minutes.
Behind the scenes
This is the first time I have ever made a game and I’ve only been trying out drawing in this style for a little over a month (hence it’s not as cohesive as I’d like. Not yet!) Although this project is short and unpolished I had tons of fun making it and learned a lot of new things as well. I've realised I never tried drawing backgrounds until last week.
I hope to return to this project in the future to update the art, expand the story and add characters.
